Angila (Angira) is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He makes his debut (and ultimately, his only appearance) in the 1991 film Lord Slug. He bears some resemblance to and is highly modeled after Zarbon, one of Frieza's top henchmen, in terms of appearance, charisma and personality.
Biography[]
Angila is the strongest henchman of the titular Lord Slug, and like Piccolo, he is capable of expanding the length of his arms to ridiculous lengths. He is one of few henchmen in Dragon Ball films who is seen physically killing another, as he can be seen taking a man's life for his Dragon Ball. After Goku furiously takes out Medamatcha, this angers Angila, who delivers a Mouth Energy Wave at Goku, only to have the ki deflected right back into Angila's mouth, causing his head to explode.
